I was the Lead Environment Artist on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 focusing on Multiplayer, and I was responsible for managing multiple art teams, world building, level art, building structures, feature landmark construction and polish/optimization of my maps. I also provided Art Direction along with feedback for Lighting, VFX and Design on my assigned maps. I worked on over sixteen multiplayer maps from the launch of the game, all the way through to Season 6. Here is a collection of some of my contributions to the game which released originally in 2022.
I had a great challenge in working with the Warzone POI Taraq, and creating something unique and interesting for 6v6. I worked with one of our external teams, Room 8 to revamp the Warzone version of Taraq, into a more bespoke and landmark heavy space. I identified various unique areas and created elements such as a burning tower from a counter attack, commercial buildings and even a graveyard to get unique call outs for the player along with providing a more interesting and new spin off to the Warzone version of the map. Overall it was a great experience and I want to thank Room 8 for working with me on this.
